New Member Portal FAQ
ASEEES launched a new member portal on November 16, 2022 to improve the member experience. You can now renew your 2023 membership through the new system. Other features will be launched in the coming weeks.
Profiles of current members and those who have ever been members at some point since 2011 have been transferred to the new member portal.
All current members should have received an email from us asking you to set up a new password to log in. If you have not, please check your spam folder.
How will this affect my ASEEES Member Profile?
Your profile information, except the CV Information field, was transferred to the new portal. You will have the opportunity to provide more complete profile information or correct any errors upon login.
What do I, as a member, need to do?
You must create a new password for the new member portal. Your password must be 8-20 characters in length and contain at least one number and one non-numeric character (letters, punctuation, etc.). Your username will remain the same, which should be your primary email address that was used to login to the previous member site.
If you’re not sure what your username is, click on “Forgot Your Password?” on the homepage and enter your email address. If you do not receive an email with information on how to change the password, please contact us.
Enter your brief professional biography
If you plan to be part of the 2023 Convention submission process, you must enter your “Professional Biography.” There is a limit of 1000 characters. Please do not copy and paste your entire CV.
If you would like to receive a print copy of Slavic Review, go to “Personal Information” under My Profile, and edit the Slavic Review Delivery field to: “I opt in to receive a print copy of Slavic Review.” For assistance, please Contact us.
If you have a joint member in your household, here are the instructions on adding that member as a joint member to your account.
How do I renew my membership?
You should see a "renew membership" link in your profile, but if you do not, go to Payments & History and click on "Membership". From there, you can choose the membership type and pay.
How do I create a profile in the system as a non-member?
Click on Join Now on the homepage, scroll down the Join Now page to Guest Non-member and then register your profile and enter information. You do not need to pay membership dues to create this profile.
