Regional Affiliate Conferences
Please see below for the information and links for the ASEEES Regional Affiliates' conferences. We strongly encourage MA students in the field to present at the regional conferences before presenting at the ASEEES Annual Convention and interested undergraduate students to attend, or present if the conference allows.
The Central Slavic Conference will be held November 3-5, 2023 at the Saint Louis University in St Louis, MO.
The 2023 Western Association of Slavic Studies Conference will be held under the auspices of the Western Social Science Association April 3-6, 2024 in San Antonio, TX. Details can be found on the World Social Science Association (WSSA) page.
The REECAS NW: the Northwest Regional Conference For Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies will be held at the University of Washington on April 11-13, 2024. Contact organize at email@example.com with any further questions.
The Midwest Slavic Association's 2024 Midwest Slavic Conference will be held April 5-7, 2024 at Ohio State University in Columbus.
The Northeast Slavic, East European and Eurasian Conference will be held on April 22,2023 at the Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia (New York University). Contact organizers for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Southern Conference on Slavic Studies (SCSS) will be held on March 14-17, 2024 at the AC Hotel by Marriott Chapel Hill Downtown. For more information see the conference website. The Southern Conference on Slavic Studies, the oldest and largest affiliate of ASEEES, is proud to announce that its 60th annual meeting will be held in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As the first conference of SCSS was held at UNC, it is fitting that our 60th anniversary meeting will return to Chapel Hill for a celebration of our significant contributions to slavic studies in its myriad manifestations.
